In late summer of 2007, Leigh Isleib (Permacel- A Nitto Denko Company, Labor Relations Manager, retired) contacted Hydranautics. He had been working alongside many others to help Sister Rose Ngacha and the Oyugis Integrated Project (OIP) in Kenya provide Katydyn filter kits to support over 65 orphans in the Riara Orphanage whose parents died of AIDS and who also have AIDS themselves -- and also provide Katadyn water filters for the healthcare workers who filter the water and bring it along with medications to home bound AIDS patients.
